With over 25 years of experience in Manufacturing and Distribution Operations, Pat O’Keefe brings a well-rounded skillset to Meraki Warrior. His expertise includes identifying opportunities for stronger performance relative to costs, quality and service levels as well as planning and implementing expanded distribution and manufacturing capacity. His experience includes retrofitting older facilities with modern, cost-effective, material handling systems and processes. In addition, he can help clients communicate effectively with all levels of employees and board members, including both union and non-union personnel.


President and General Manager, Flagship Food Group / Sataria Acquisition LLC

Sataria is a privately held, third-party logistics provider, a 3PL, operating a 600,000 sq. ft. food-grade warehouse in Indianapolis. This facility is a 24-7-365 day, plant support operation primarily responsible for national domestic shipping facility for Chicago Illinois based Ingredion.

SOLO Cup / Creative Expressions Group

SOLO Cup / Creative Expressions Group is a leading national supplier of disposable paper tableware and decorations for all social events. Supporting a wide customer base of mass merchants, major discount chains and specialty outlets, CEG’s product line of over 15,000 sku’s generates annual gross sales of over 100 million dollars.

11/95 to 12/07 Director of Distribution

Initiatives focused on identifying areas of cost reduction, increasing output and implementing change. The installation of a state of the art Warehouse Management System (Manhatten Associates PKMS) coupled with improvements in storage methods and picking layouts throughout a 750.000 square-foot facility permitted the reduction from two shifts to one and reduced indirect headcount by 35%, with no interruption in facility output.

12/93 to 11/95 Distribution Center Manager

Total operational responsibility for two warehouse facilities, comprising 600,000 sq. ft., 45,000 storage locations, and 130 union personnel spanning 2 shifts. Having initially implemented basic Inventory Control procedures, this facility improved overall productivity by 17%, saving an annual $279K per year, as well as improving Service Level, cutting 4 days out of the fulfillment cycle. This was accomplished through the implementation of a Pack & Ship conveyor installation and a Standard Measured Work program.
